Important Information

In addition to the basic validation performed, enhanced checks are automatically carried out after importing to make sure the newly imported assets meet all the requirements of the associated GL accounts. The email message will contain information about any assets that do not pass the enhanced validation check. It is important to resolve any such issues as soon as possible because you will not be able to create depreciation schedules for assets with unresolved validation issues.

To check which assets have validation issues, go to the Fixed Assets list page and select the “All Assets – Validation Issues” view.

To check progress, select the “All Depreciation Schedules” view. Validation is carried out as a background task and may take up to a few hours to complete if you are importing many assets.

If any errors are found, the corresponding assets will be listed in the Fixed Assets > Validation Messages page, where all validation issues are listed. Errors may be corrected directly from this list.
