Minimum required permissions for Fixed Assets

To ensure Fixed Assets functions properly, a specific set of permissions must be granted to the gateway user and all users within the company who will be utilizing the module.

  1. Minimum Permissions for xmlgw-FA

    ·       Company – Read-only (to enable reading of the dimensions)

    ·       General Ledger – Read-only (to enable reading of accounts) [AND- Add, edit journal entries]

    ·       Accounts Receivable – Read-only (to enable reading of customers and project dimensions)

    ·       Accounts Payable – Read-only (to enable reading of Vendors) [AND – Add, Edit, Post, Delete Bills]

    ·       Purchasing Module – Read-only (only for PO FA integration) [AND – Add, Edit, Post, Delete Purchasing Transactions]

    ·       Platform Services – All

    ·       Fixed Assets – All

  2. Minimum Permissions for a user

    ·       Company – Read-only (to enable reading of the dimensions)

    ·       General Ledger  – Read-only (to enable reading of accounts)

    ·       Accounts Receivable – Read-only (to enable reading of customers and project dimensions)

    ·       Accounts Payable – Read-only (to enable reading of Vendors)

    ·       Purchasing Module – Read-only (only for PO FA integration)

    ·       Platform Services – All

    ·       Fixed Assets – Read only [AND Add, Edit Assets]

    *If your company uses roles, please ensure that these minimum permissions are assigned to the appropriate roles so that users can access and use Fixed Assets without issues.
