Adding the close books page script component
To add the script component to the Close Books page, please follow these steps:
Navigate to General Ledger > All > Books > Close. If you do not see the “Close Books” option on the General Ledger menu, please ensure that your user has the correct roles and permissions.
Click More Actions at the top right of the screen and then click Edit this page.
Drag a “New <script component>” from the left panel to the center of the page under “Edit Close Book Log,” then click Edit.
Copy the contents from the file Close_books from the FA Setup files folder and paste it into the Script Component.
Click Save on the “Edit HTML” pop-up and click Save again on the “Edit Close book log” page. Please ensure that you DO NOT click the “Save & Synchronize” button, as it will corrupt the configurations.
