Setting up Allocations
The Lease Accounting module allows you to add them to your lease, provided you have set up your allocation rules in the General Ledger. After setting up the rules, you can now allocate the correct values across various dimensions automatically on Lease Accounting transaction lines.
If you wish to set up allocations in your environment:
Go to Lease Accounting > + Lease Group
Enter a name for your Lease Group in the Lease Group field.
Enter a description of the Lease Group in the Description field.
Next, select the box next to “Use Allocations.”
In the drop-down menu, select your desired allocation.
Save.
